This Autumn we are proud to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA). We all felt this charity was especially deserving, as one of our team had to call upon their services when they broke their leg during a nasty accident which meant getting air lifted to James Cook hospital over the summer. We are pleased to say the team member is making a great recovery and hopes to be fully back in action soon.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance relies solely on donations and provides a life-saving rapid response emergency service 365 days a year to 5 million people across 4 million acres of Yorkshire.
To keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances in the air they need to raise £12,000 per day, this is equivalent to £4.4 million per year so we hope our donation helps a little towards the irreplaceable service they provide.
